About the book

I spent my entire life compartmentalizing everything, never dealing with the mistakes of my past. Therapy taught me that I needed to be vulnerable enough to revisit my childhood and the events that shaped me, in order to truly heal and move forward.

After losing both my father and one of my best friends within two weeks of each other, I began a healing journey to fight for my peace. Now, Iā€™m sharing my personal story and expressing how weekly therapy sessions saved my life, and how it can save yours, too.

Fighting for Peace follows my journey of battling severe mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, OCD, claustrophobia, an emotional eating disorder, PTSD, and body dysmorphia. It is a story of survival and mental health awareness that details how my faith in God and my extensive work with my therapist allowed me to navigate through these mental health challenges.
